We have an excellent opportunity available for you to build on your experience and skills as a Payroll Accountant, while completing up to 5 months of full-time work in our Finance & Corporate Services Department. Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager the incumbent will perform specialized accounting work responsible for the accounting functions related to payroll and also be responsible for administering the computerized payroll system.
Your background includes a Grade 12 diploma plus PCP certification with the Canadian Payroll Association, and completion of the second level of a recognized accounting program. A minimum three years automated payroll experience in a multi-union setting or a combination of education and experience is also required.
We offer a progressive wage of $26.69 to $31.41 plus an additional 12% in lieu of stats, vacation, and benefits for this temporary opportunity.
